Over 500 participants, five countries, 65 volunteers: the Africa Data Fair (GSDA) delivered on its promise in Ouagadougou.

On 15 and 16 July 2026, the first edition of the Grand Salon de la Data en Afrique (GSDA) brought together in Ouagadougou public decision-makers, regulators, companies, researchers, students and data talent, under the patronage of the Ministry of Digital Transition, Posts and Electronic Communications and sponsored by the Commission de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CIL).

A masterclass at the Digital Business School, a round table on data sovereignty, three panels (data as a growth lever for SMEs, data careers & fintech, cybersecurity) and a gala dinner marked these two days, with delegations from Mali, Togo, Côte d'Ivoire and Benin.

The edition's white paper and all information about the 2027 edition are available on the official website gsdasummit.org.
